　愛国学園大学は女子教育の伝統の下で、校訓の「親切正直」と建学精神の「社会人として自立し、家庭人として一家の幸福に貢献する健全な女性を育成する」を基本とした女子教育を行っております。
　人間文化学部では、人としての毎日の活動や営みから生まれる文化の過去と未来、人との関わり方や社会のしくみについて学び、新しい文化を創造し、未来を切り拓く思考力を養う教育をめざしています。現代社会における「人間と文化」、「人間と社会」、「人間と人間のかかわり」を学習し、複雑な社会の課題に柔軟に対応できる「豊かな専門性をもった教養人を育てる」ことを目標としております。
　令和３年4月より時代のニーズに合わせて、心理・生活、ビジネス、地域共生、日本理解の4専攻で構成する新カリキュラムをスタートさせました。学生は「主専攻」、「副専攻」の双方に属し、幅広い専門科目を学ぶ事になります。
人間の才能は無限です。是非大学4年間で人間を知り、文化を学び、明日を創る人間力を身につけていただくことを期待しています。

                    “Explore possibilities and take on the frontiers of self-change”
　Aikoku Gakuen University is a "Liberal Arts College for Women" on the founding spirit of the school, teaching and researching a wide range of education and advanced knowledge and arts related to human culture, contributing to the development of Japanese culture and educating women with a rich humanity with expertise, under relevant laws and regulations,
　Our university aims to provide education that allows students to learn about the past and future of complex cultures which have emerged from primitive human life and activities, human relations, and social systems. We believe such knowledge would help develop thinking skills and open up the way to the creation of a new culture and a better future. Nurturing well-educated women with diverse skills and expertise, who can flexibly cope with the complicated problems of society by drawing from their deep understanding of topics such as “human and culture”, ”human and society”, and “human relationships” in modern society, is the goal of our educational program. 
　Since 2021, our university launched a new curriculum consisting of four majors: Psychology & Life, Business, Regional Studies, and Japan Studies, based on the needs of the times, and  students. Students can take a wide range of specialized courses in both majors and minors through this dual major system that allows students to learn two different disciplines at the same time.
　Human talent is infinite. I hope that students will acquire excellent ability to create better tomorrow with understanding human being, and learning about various cultures, in their university life through proactive and deep learnings.
